Arts Council of Winston Salem and Forsyth County:
Art Bridges Documentary Series

In March 2022, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners earmarked $4.5 million from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County. Since January 2023, Arts Council has managed and allocated these funds to support local arts and cultural initiatives. This film highlights some of the work being accomplished thanks to these once-in-a-lifetime funds.

Capturing the breadth and impact of the initiatives funded by the ARPA allocation, while ensuring a comprehensive representation of the diverse arts and cultural projects in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. Balancing the need to highlight both high-profile and grassroots efforts, and portraying the tangible benefits to the community in a compelling and visually engaging manner. Additionally, coordinating with various artists and organizations to film their work without disrupting their activities presents logistical challenges.
